Gemma Computers Ltd Return Terms and Conditions
  1. Gemma reserves the right to change this form listed terms & conditions without prior notice. Please download latest form from our web site www.gemma.co.uk
  2. RMA Number Request will only be dealt with if the copy of Original Invoice or Dispatch Note is faxed with this form.
  3. In case where the manufacture has setup a direct warranty relationship with the customers then the manufacturers procedure will be applied, please visit Maxtor, Seagate, WD, 3Com, Acer, Relysis, Cannon, Epson, HP web sites.
  4. Upon verification of warranty etc. An RMA number will be issued and informed by or Return Department.
  5. Please note that if the RMA goods are not returned and received by Gemma within 5 working days From the Date of RMA number been issued, then this RMA will be CANCELLED automatically.
  6. Mark RMA number on outside of the package (not product packaging).Goods will be refused delivery if no RMA number marked on the package.
  7. The customer will be responsible for all carriage cost incurred whilst returning the faulty goods to Gemma. And for the customers that are not in the UK mainland will bare the cost of return (both ways) carriages of RMA goods.
  8. All return goods must be returned in their original packaging, all manuals and where applicable disks ...etc, must be included. Failure to supply original packing will result warranty void. The said items will be returned to the customer at customers own cost.
  9. In the event of any items found to be not supplied by Gemma, customer will be informed of said items and must arrange 'collection of the goods within 5 working days from the date of being informed. If the items are not collected within the 5 working days, then Gemma reserves the right to dispose of the items at their own discretion
  10. In the event of any item found not to be faulty, then a testing fee will be charged £10 + VAT for any single item (i.e. Motherboard). Full machine examination £30 + VAT. or what the supplier charges Gemma, which ever is greater. Any problems relating to software and not purchased from us or not loaded properly will be charged £25.00/Hour.
  11. All returned item(s) found faulty, replacement will be carried out within 30days. If returned warranty covered faulty item(s) no longer available on the market, item(s) will be replaced as soon as we received from manufacturer or supplier.
  12. When customer returns goods to us because the customer has made a wrong order, or over ordered, Gemma withholds the right to charge customer 15% of the value of the goods for handling and restocking reason.
  13. Gemma offers one year return to base warranty from invoice date. ‘Warranty on all Batteries, Mice, Keyboard, Mouse Mats, Ink Cartridge, Floppy Disks/Tape Media/Writable CD/Software on CD/Diskettes and all such' consumable products will carry a DOA Warranty only. Any problems must be reported within 5 days of receipt of these products.
  14. All testing fees must be paid before goods can be returned. In the event of testing fees not being paid within 10 working days from the date of Gemma’s notice to customer, then Gemma reserves the right to dispose of the goods at their own discretion
  15. Credit will not be accepted per our standard terms and conditions. We can provide our best service to repair or replace (if not repairable) the faulty item(s). We can not provide advance replacement service unless you specified whilst you placed order to Gemma.

  16. All 775 socket based motherboards must be returned with its cover protector since damages occurred to the CPU pins without cover protector will be classified as human damages and void warranty.
  17. Your parcel shall be checked not on receipt of delivery but for any discrepancy upon opening and processing date of your RMA item(s)
  18. Items replaced in "Extra services” carry THREE months warranty RTB only
